Ahh, thanks for clarifying things a bit ;) I got the general gist, but your condensed version is clearer.

And obviously, I agree with everything you said ;)

Celettu, what a surprise. You are welcome, I'm pleased to meet you here in my small flat. My God, who'll be the next? Hey, mr. Béranger, can you hear me?...

The translator is like a crazy puzzle, though it might provide some idea of what's all this about. If not, I'm giving here a brief description:

There is a man (Béranger) who was in a love-hate relationship with linux for a long time. Since I knew him, he was more on the linux side. This why he surprised me (among others) when once he decided to quit linux and use XP.

Then came another man, also playing for long time with several OS', but showing a deep passion for linux (You), who joined B's oppinion. Don't misunderstand, I agreed with both of you, because I had some rainy days and headache with linux, too.

After some time B returned to linux, in the beginning just tasting the cake (in his particular manner ;)), later showing some sympathy for a new edition (Ubuntu9.04). Then I was turning my “camera” at B's fellow (You), to see what happened with him. As expected, I have seen he's fine, jumping from one distro-testing to other like a happy bee in a blooming garden, still keeping a place apart in his heart for Arch (me too), “infecting” his girlfriend's computer with it.

So, here in Hungary we say “if somebody was ever hit by the smoke of a locomotive...” and tacitly we mean “he will always love the railway”. Who tasted once linux... can cheat it sometimes with win, but sooner or later for sure he'll turn back “home”, as you mentioned once.

On one hand Linux is science, but on the other it is passion, isn't it? Have you heard somebody loving Windows, or saying “my Windows”?? We say “my Arch”: “I love my Linux” or “I hate my Linux”. Am I too subjective? Perhaps...

Regarding to your blog, my first impact was your widely linked review of Overlord. I was reading it having a fresh Arch on my laptop. Your post had an after-sales effect, confirming that my choice was right. Thanks. Now guess what OS has my girlfriend on her desktop? Yesss. We both came from Mint.

ps: As for the chosen language, of course writing in an international language possibly would give me a larger audience. I opted for hungarian because my purpose is to infect as many of my compatriots as I can with this lunatic thing called Linux...
(check the comments in your blog... sometimes I use to be “tmc” ;))
